AUTO IRIS VARIFOCAL DOME CAMERA

Our top of the line dome has a Sony Super HAD CCD with an auto iris varifocal 4~9mm manual zoom lens built in. Dip switch controls (on the back of the camera AES, AI, AGC, AWB, BIC, FL) mode to adjust the low light camera to different settings allowing you to capture perfectly clear video images of the driver's view. Only 4" in diameter, it can easily be mounted above and behind the driver and never be in the way.

Available in Black & White (DC-311W-AV) or Color (DC-311WC-AV).

Terminology Key:

AES - Advanced Encryption Standard - a symmetric 128-bit block data encryption technique used for high resolution video.
AI - Auto Iris - A circuit which shutters the CCD sensor , varying the size of the lens opening in response to changes in scene illumination.
AGC - Automatic Gain Control - an electronic system found in many types of devices. It's purpose is to control the gain and provide adequate performance over a range of input signal levels and works to keep the video signal at a constant level (1 volt peak to peak) which is useful when working with low light levels.
AWB - Automatic White Balance - An electronic process used in video cameras to help retain true colors.
BIC - Backline Interface CAD - Relates to rejection of background noise levels.
FL - 'Flicker Less' (eliminate flicker under fluorescent lights)
